Industrial Organiser - Two Vacancies

The NZ Dairy Workers Union has two current vacancies for an organiser position.
One position will be based in Hamilton and organise in the Northland/Auckland region. Applications from candidates who reside in Auckland will also be considered.
One position will be based in either New Plymouth or Palmerston North and organise in the union's Central region (Taranaki/Manawatu).
The successful applicants will need to have a good understanding of industrial matters, good negotiation and interpersonal skills and an understanding and affinity with the trade union movement. First hand knowledge of the dairy industry or previous trade union organising experience would be an advantage.
Competitive terms and conditions are offered in accordance with the NZ Dairy Workers Union Staff Collective Agreement.
